Thunderstorm and Flood Warning for Parts of Montgomery County
The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning and flood warning for portions of Montgomery County.
The flood warning is in place through 1 a.m. Wednesday, August 7. About 2 inches of rain has already fallen. The locations that may experience flooding are Rockville, Gaithersburg, Potomac, North Potomac, Great Falls and Darnestown.
Remember, turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads.
A severe thunderstorm warning is in place until 8:15 p.m. for portions of Montgomery County, including Potomac, Great Falls, Silver Spring, Rockville and Bethesda.
