Kensington Family Makes Neighbors Smile with Daily ‘Bad Dad Jokes’

Neighbors get a laugh walking past the Schruben home in Kensington. 

Tom Schruben began posting daily “bad dad jokes” outside his home to lift his spirits during the COVID-19 Stay at Home order, with the help of his wife, Ann, and 11-year-old daughter, Darcy. Now, cars slow down to get a look and people email in joke suggestions. 

It’s all to give people a break during a time of anxiety, Tom said.
