Happy Friday! Here are five things to know today, Oct. 26, in Montgomery County:

1. Film Screening of American Feud: Filmmakers Simone Fary and Richard Hall will lead a question and answer period following the screening of their film, American Feud: A History of Conservatives and Liberals at the Silver Spring Civic Building.

2. BOOtanica:  Brookside Gardens hosts a Halloween themed evening with pumpkin painting, pumpkin treats and storyteller Gary Loyld telling tales more funny than scary. Children are encouraged to come in costume.

3. MCM Football Coverage: MCM’s Friday Night Football Game of the Week for Oct. 26 is Quince Orchard at Northwest.

5. Food for Fines:  Do you have unpaid library fines? From now through Oct. 30th, you may reduce your existing fines or hold fees by one dollar for every canned good or non-perishable food item donated. The Food for Fines program is part of  Montgomery County’s Community Service Week.

And one more thing: Early Voting continues through Nov. 1 at 11 locations in the County.
