Elrich and Gayles Speak at New COVID-19 Drive-Thru Test Site

A drive-thru COVID-19 testing site opened in White Oak on Tuesday.

At the vehicle emissions center on Industrial Parkway in Silver Spring, the site is open to all Maryland residents who have an appointment.

To get an appointment, residents must first see a healthcare provider. If the provider decides the patient should be tested, they will order a test online and the patient will receive instructions on how to make an online appointment before coming to the drive-thru center.

Montgomery County Executive Marc Elrich and county Chief of Public Health Services Dr. Travis Gayles spoke at the site.
