Clarksburg Premium Outlets Will Close Wednesday Night Until March 29

The Clarksburg Premium Outlets will close Wednesday at 7 p.m. until March 29 due to the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.

A statement says that the decision to close came after discussions with federal, state and local officials.

Simon Property Group, which owns the outlets as well as other malls, is closing all of its retail properties.

“The health and safety of our shoppers, retailers and employees is of paramount importance and we are taking this step to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our communities,” said Simon Property Group CEO David Simon in the statement.
