5 Things to Know Today, Sept. 28, In Montgomery County
It is Tuesday, Sept. 28 and it is World Rabies Day, which was started in 2007 as a global health observance intended on raising awareness about preventing the spread of rabies.

1. Council in Virtual Session: Montgomery County Council meets virtually at 9 a.m. The meeting begins with two proclamations in recognition of African Heritage Month and Constitution Month. Here’s a look at the full agenda. The meeting will be televised on County Cable Montgomery Channels Comcast HD 996 and SD6, RCN HD 1056 and SD 6, and Verizon 30. Additionally, it will be live-streamed on the council’s Facebook and Youtube channels
