The Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) Class of 2021 is graduating this month after more than a year of learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. At Northwest High School in Germantown, seniors are excited and proud to graduate after two school years unlike any other.

June is Pride Month and Montgomery County residents and leaders are participating in events to show their support for LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer) members of the community. On Sunday, Silver Spring residents in Woodmoor marched in the neighborhood’s first-ever Pride parade. On Monday, county leaders raised the Progress Pride flag in Rockville.
