Residents, Leaders Show Support as June Kicks Off Pride Month
June is Pride Month and Montgomery County residents and leaders are participating in events to show their support for LGBTQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer) members of the community. On Sunday, Silver Spring residents in Woodmoor marched in the neighborhood’s first-ever Pride parade. On Monday, county leaders raised the Progress Pride flag in Rockville.
