Mikulski Awarded Presidential Medal of Freedom at White House (VIDEO)

President Barack Obama presented the Presidential Medal of Freedom to U.S. Senator Barbara Mikulski and 16 others at a ceremony November 24th at the White House. The Presidential Medal of Freedom is described as the nation’s highest civilian honor, presented to individuals who have made especially meritorious contributions to the security or national interests of the United States, to world peace, or to cultural or other significant public or private endeavors.
