1.  Free Coronavirus Testing: Montgomery County’s free coronavirus testing clinic runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the White Oak Community Recreation Center and the Silver Spring Civic Building from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. today. Click here for more details.

2. WSSC Virtual Public Hearing: Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission is hosting two virtual public hearings on its proposed capital improvements program. Tonight’s hearing begins at 7:30 p.m. Callers will have three minutes each. The six-year plan covers projects that involve upgrading older pipes, plants, and pumps involved with drinking water. 3. MoCoEats Picnic in the Park: Looking for a perfect picnic spot in Montgomery County, Maryland? There are more opportunities to enjoy a picnic in the park. Search for a participating park in your area and find nearby restaurants. There are nine picnic locations available.

4. Senior Planet Montgomery: Senior Planet Montgomery continues offering free Zoom classes to Senior residents. Today’s classes include “Morning Stretch” and “Online Bill Pay,” where you can learn how to set up an online account with your utility company and explore its many advantages.

5. MCM Classes: Are you ready to produce great content with MCM? Then sign up for one of our upcoming virtual classes. On Sept. 10, we have an orientation where you can learn about what MCM’s Education Department has to offer. On Sept. 14, you can begin our 2-session long “Step into Virtual Podcasting” class.
