1. Municipal Monday: Gaithersburg Mayor and Council holds an off-site work session starting at 7 p.m. at the Olde Town Youth Center, 301 Teachers Way. Rockville’s Mayor and Council meets at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 111 Maryland Ave. Kensington’s Town Council meets as well at 7 p.m. at the Town Office, 3710 Mitchell St.
2. Student Achievers: Montgomery County Public Schools staff will inform the community on how the school system monitors and reports student achievement. The session starts at 7 p.m. at Rockville, Quince Orchard and Springbrook high schools. For information, click here.
3. Business Friendly: Another in the series of events to find ways to make Montgomery County more business friendly starts at 7 p.m. at the MidCounty Regional Services Center, Charles W. Gilchrist Immigrant Resource Center, 11002 Veirs Mill Road, Wheaton.
4. Older Americans: It’s Older Americans Month, and Montgomery County Public Libraries can offer ways to connect and contribute.
