Council Action: The Planning, Housing and Economic Development (PHED) Committee meets at 9:30 a.m. in the Council Office Building’s seventh floor hearing room to hear about development around MARC rail communities of Boyds and Germantown. 2. Gaithersburg: The Mayor and Council have an off-site work session at 7:30 p.m. at BioSpace, 704 Quince Orchard Road. Scheer Partners acquired this aging office building in 2018 and is converting the space to accommodate biotechnology companies. Here’s the meeting’s agenda.

3. Education Budget: Councilmember Craig Rice, MCPS Superintendent Jack R.
