1. Know Your Status, it’s National HIV Testing Day:  Join the Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services at their Dennis Avenue Health Center in Silver Spring for free testing.

2. DNC Debates at Silver Branch Brewing: Join Montgomery County Councilmember Tom Hucker and Silver Branch Brewing Company [8401 Colesville Road in Silver Spring]  to continue watching the first Democratic Primary Debates from 8:00 pm – 11:00 pm. Click here for more information.

3. Parks, Party & Play – Bethesda Yappy Hour: Yappy Hour and the “Pop Up Dog Park”  will take place from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at Elm Street Park [4600 Elm Street in Chevy Chase] The pop-up dog park will consist of a small dog and a large dog enclosure area for well-socialized dogs. 4. MD 355 Open House: The Montgomery County Department of Transportation is studying options for a new Bus Rapid Transit service along MD 355 called FLASH. MCDOT invites you to a public Open House from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the B-CC Regional Services Center Wisconsin Multipurpose Room [4805 Edgemoor Lane in Bethesda] to learn more and see the results of the extensive evaluation and preliminary engineering of the alternatives, including ridership, benefits, impacts, and estimated costs.

5. Concert at Glen Echo Park: Music is in the air every Thursday evening at Glen Echo Park from now through August 29th. This Thursday enjoy an evening of live music with renowned Venezuelan musician Ramon Gonzalez. Click here for more information.
