1. Germantown in the News: FOX 5 continues their Zip Trip series with a visit to Germantown Friday morning.
2. Conversation with Councilmember Friedson: Residents may share concerns and discuss important issues specific to their neighborhood with Andrew Friedson, who represents District 1. The event takes place from 8 – 9:30 a.m. at Car Wash Coffee, 10700 Connecticut Avenue, Kensington.

4. Wheaton Interim Library Closing: The Wheaton Interim library branch is closing on Saturday, June 22 at 6 p.m. to prepare for the reopening of the Wheaton Library and Recreation Center in late summer. Nearby library branches include Aspen Hill, Kensington Park, Silver Spring, Twinbrook, and White Oak.
5. Washington Spirit Pride Night: The first-place Washington Spirit host the Houston Dash at the Maryland Soccerplex Saturday at 7 p.m. The game will be the Spirit’s inaugural Pride Night. During the halftime ceremony, Spirit legend Joanna Lohman will become the first player in team history to have her number retired.
