2. Municipal Monday: The Rockville Mayor and Council meets at 7 p.m. at Rockville City Hall, 111 Maryland Ave.
3. County Council: Montgomery County Council committees have a big day. The Planning, Housing and Economic Development Committee to discuss landscape contractors at 9:30 a.m. in the Seventh Floor Hearing Room. The committee also will review county regulations that provide assistance to small businesses. The Government Operations Committee will meet at 2 p.m. in the Seventh Floor Hearing Room to discuss legislation that would require economic impact statements for bills the council considers. The Transportation and Environment Committee, meeting at 2 p.m. in the Third Floor Conference Room, will receive its quarterly update from the Department of Environmental Protection.
4. Summer Reading: Montgomery County Pubic Libraries say it’s not too late to start a summer reading adventure.
