1. Let Your Voice Be Heard: County Executive Marc Elrich will host another of his listening sessions from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Einstein High School, 11135 Newport Mill Road, Kensington.

2. Welcome Back: The once-closed Dawson’s Market is having a ribbon cutting for its re-opening. The event starts at noon at the market, which is at 225 N. Washington St., Rockville.

3. Takoma Park Training: The Takoma Park Police will end its active shooter training at John Nevins Andrews School 117 Elm Ave., Takoma Park. Residents might hear what sounds like gunshots; the officers will be using non-lethal training ammunition called simunitions, which may sound real.
