1. MCPS Spring Break: Nice weather has arrived just in time for spring break for students! MCPS students and teachers have the day off from now through Monday, April 22.
2. 4Business Public Hearing: County Executive Elrich and Council Vice President Sidney Katz are teaming up on a joint initiative called 4Business: Benchmarking to Be the Best for Business. People are invited to attend a public hearing about this on the third-floor hearing room in the Council Office Building in Rockville from 11:30 to 1 p.m. Anyone who wants to send comments about this initiative can email 4Business@montgomerycountymd.gov.

3. Water Treatment Tour & Stream Clean: The City of Gaithersburg’s Student Union is hosting a tour of the Wastewater Treatment Plant in Germantown and a stream clean project at Morris Park. Students in grades 9 through 12 can earn SSL hours for this free event. The event will be from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Those who attend need to fill out this form.
4. Takoma Park City Council Meets: The City of Takoma Park’s City Council meets tonight from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Takoma Park Community Center. This meeting is open to the public.
5. Podcast Jr.’s Spring Break Camp: MCM’s 1-day Podcasting – Jr. Camp has two sessions — Friday, April 19 and Monday, April 22. It’s not too late to sign up today!
