5 Things to Know Today, Oct. 5, In Montgomery County

2. School Board Meets: Montgomery County Board of Education meets in closed session at 9 a.m. The meeting “opens” at noon and includes a discussion about the latest with schools reopening at 1:10 p.m. Here’s a look at the full agenda.
3. Budget Forum: County Executive Marc Elrich holds a hybrid forum seeking input on the 2023 Operating Budget from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Here is a link to join the forum.
