Weekend Planner, Oct. 14 – Oct. 16 (VIDEOS)

Fall is definitely the time for festivals and celebrations in Montgomery County. A few happening this weekend include Bethesda Row Arts Festival, Rockville’s annual Antique & Classic Car Show on Saturday; and the World of Montgomery Festival on Sunday. Don’t forget that Sunday is the first day of Community Service Week in the county.

  • The Sugarloaf Craft Festival takes place at the county fairgrounds today. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Plan you visit with the online guide.
  • Olney Theatre presents The Diary of Anne Frank at 1:45 p.m.
  • The Unexpected Stage Company presents Zombie Prom at 2 p.m. at the Randolph Road Theater.
  • Chopteech Afrofunk Big Band and JaneliaSoul perform at Bethesda Blues & Jazz Club at 7:30 p.m.
  • The popular Halloween attraction Field of Screams is open tonight.
  • Round House Theatre’s production of Angels in America takes place at 2 and 7:30 p.m.
  • AMP by Strathmore’s Sidemen: Long Road to Glory kicks off Strathmore’s celebration of the Blues with talks, music and a screening of the film. Doors open at 3 p.m.
