Round House at Your House: Round House Theatre has created online programs for all ages while the theatre is closed. Artistic Director Ryan Rilette shares the programs Round House has planned in the video below. The Playwrights on Plays series of weekly online discussions kicks off Thursday, April 2. Rockville’s 65 Park Challenge: Did you know that the city of Rockville has 65 parks within the city limits? Check out the city’s Parks and Facilities page to see how many you have visited. Many parks in the city also have a trail. If you go for a hike, remember to keep a social distance from other hikers.
Discover Steel Pan with Josanne Francis: Strahtmore’s Family Jam series continues Saturday, April 4, with Josanne Francis, an internationally known steel pannist and music educator. Young children and their families will learn about the steel pan during the virtual workshop. Steel pannist Josanne Francis explores the history of the instrument and its significant contribution to American music.
