The Board of Education is composed of five members who must reside in the districts they represent and two members who may live anywhere in the county and are elected “at large.” Elections for Board of Education members are non-partisan. All voters may vote for one “at-large” candidate plus one candidate from each district where more than two candidates are running, regardless the district in which they (the voter) resides.
