Video Editing Made Easy

Jim at the editing table in 1972Did you ever go to a movie or even watch one on TV? You turn on the TV, or whatever you use to watch shows and movies and sit through it totally intrigued with the effects and things that just didn’t seem possible, and wonder how do they do that.  You know it isn’t real but don’t know how it’s done, it seems like magic.

Well it really isn’t unless you are watching a magician, then you still wonder the same thing, how did he do that? The only difference is the magician is doing it right in front of you, but the movie has been shot and edited before you even see it. The list of people involved in a movie, or even a television show is tremendous. You have grips, camera people, sound people, set designers, builders and the list goes on. Even with all those creative people it still ends up with the editors. They are the ones that take all the ideas, what the  designers created,  and create the show. Some of it is really complexed editing and some really pretty simple.

So the question is how do I get started learning how to do this? The answer is easy take the editing class at MCM. You will learn from the ground up how to edit using an  up to date editing  program to create a show working with all the elements that the producers used and the tech people captured. The result will be a program that will air on TV and be posted on the website and You Tube for all to see.

Sign up now to get started. You will learn how to edit, as well as edit the media to create the program in just 5 short days.
