Diane Roberts talked to Pugh and Lavelle for MyMCMedia in April:
The Women’s World Cup will take place in various locations in France in June. The tournament, held every four years, kicks off on June 7. The first match for the U.S. team is against Thailand on June 11.
The U.S. team won the last World Cup in 2015 defeating Japan in the final.
The article has been updated to identify Ashlyn Harris as the third former Spirit player as part of the roster.
You got it wrong actually! It’s 3 former Spirit players. You forgot Ashlyn Harris!
