Soldier from Takoma Park Killed in Afghanistan (PHOTO)

The Department of Defense announced that a U.S. Army solider from Montgomery County was killed while on patrol in the Nangarhar Province in Afghanistan on Oct. 4th. Officials say that Staff Sgt. Adam Thomas, age 31, of Takoma Park, died from injuries caused by an improvised explosive device. The incident is under investigation. Thomas was […]
