These are the JOY Supernovas of Montgomery County!  Although competitive cheer has been a sport for special Olympics Maryland the past 11 years, this year- for the first time ever, the world cheerleading championships now include a Special Olympics division. The JOY Supernovas have been selected to represent the United States.
