On March 14th, the owners of Potomac Pizza closed their Center Point Way location at Kentlands Market Square after 17 years of business. Now interior renovations are taking place for a new restaurant, Potomac Village Deli, that will open later this spring in the same spot. MyMCMedia’s Sonya Burke reports.

Trust, the bald eagle, is on the road to recovery after being struck by a car on River Road earlier this month in Potomac. County Cable Montgomery’s Susan Kenedy reports. You can find out more about Trust’s condition, here.

The Montgomery County Council saluted farmers and their contributions to the economy as part of its celebration of National Agricultural Day on March 15th. In 1981, Montgomery created its Agricultural Reserve—which has been called the country’s most successful farmland preservation program as it protects 93,000 acres. A bald eagle is recovering at the Owl Moon Raptor Center in Boyd after sustaining injuries from an impact.
