Maryland Governor Larry Hogan has ordered the State flag to be lowered to half staff from sunrise to sunset on Friday, May 5th. This is in honor of Fallen Heroes who have lost their lives in service to the State during the last year.

UPDATED A Montgomery County firefighter died on duty Friday, according to a county fire spokesman.
