It’s time for another Heritage Montgomery Civil War moment. The story left off with Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address in November of 1863. Now we look at events that took place in the summer of 1864. Barbara Grunbaum reports.

Once the General left Montgomery County, he joined a major battle, already in progress.
