Back to School: Bethesda-Chevy Chase HS Expands Due to Overcrowding

There are 34 more classrooms at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School following a renovation project to ease overcrowding. Enrollment for the 2017-2018 school year was 500 over capacity. “With 2,100 students last year we had eight portable classroom units outside,” said Donna Jones, the school’s principal. “With this expansion, the building will have a capacity of 2,400.” […]
