Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued for Montgomery County Tuesday
Montgomery County is under a severe thunderstorm watch until 9 p.m. Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.
Thunderstorms with large hail and damaging winds are possible. Residents with outdoor plans should remain alert for threatening severe weather.
Besides Montgomery County, the watch includes Washington, D.C., and Baltimore city; and Anne Arundel, Howard, Prince George’s, Carroll, Frederick, Washington, Baltimore, Harford, Calvert, Charles and St. Mary’s counties. It also includes central and Northern Virginia.
