Reunited and It Feels So Good: Missing Support Dog Back with Best Friend

A support dog has finally been reunited with his best friend. Macks, a therapy dog for a four-year-old disabled boy, went missing in the area of Cold Spring Road in Potomac in May. After an extensive search and help from MCPD’s 4th District Special Assignment Team, members of the Special Operations Division K9 Unit and the 2nd District Community Action Team, Macks was found by someone who requested the reward money offered.

Macks was reunited with his best friend and family on August 23. Information regarding the finder of the pup is unavailable as the person wanted to remain anonymous.

The Montgomery County Department of Police wants to thank all those who assisted with looking for Macks.  The family also appreciates all those involved with reuniting the dog with his best friend.
