Police Search for Man Accused of Two Burglaries in Silver Spring

Police are searching for a man accused of two smash and go burglaries at businesses in Silver Spring Wednesday morning.

The burglaries occurred around 2 a.m. at the Arat Kilo Market and Restaurant on Easley Street and Euro Style, a clothing store on Georgia Avenue. The burglaries occurred around 30 minutes apart and are believed to have been committed by the same person.

According to police, a cash register was taken from the Arat Kilo Market and Restaurant. Officials are not sure how much money was in the register or the contents that were taken from Euro Style at this time.

Montgomery County Police are searching for a Black male wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black jeans and a black windbreaker. The suspect is suspected to be in his 20s and was seen driving a black four-door Honda.

Individuals with information regarding the incidents should contact the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD).
