12.13.16 Montgomery County police are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Wheaton woman.
According to police, Geraldine Lonkon Fongong, age 34, was last seen by family members at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Dec. 12, leaving her Glenallan Avenue home for her regular walk around the neighborhood. Fongong is familiar with public transportation and is known to frequent the central business district of downtown Silver Spring, police said.
Police describe Fongong as an African-American female, 5’ tall and weighing 230 pounds. She has medium length black hair and brown eyes. Fongong was last seen wearing a black jacket, black shoes, and carrying a brown purse.
Police and family members are concerned for Geraldine Fongong’s welfare.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Fongong is asked to call the Montgomery County Police non-emergency number at 301.279.8000 (available 24 hours). Callers may remain anonymous.
