UPDATE: Motorcyclist Dies From Injuries Sustained in Clarksburg Collision

Jeremy Cross, the 22-year-old motorcyclist from Silver Spring, died from injuries he sustained in the collision, police say.

The Collision Reconstruction Unit is continuing to investigate this incident and urge anyone with information to call 240-773-6620.

A 22-year-old Silver Spring man was involved in a motorcycle crash late Friday night in Clarksburg, according to the Montgomery County Police Department.

Police have identified the motorcyclist as Jeremy Cross of Woodside Parkway in Silver Spring.

According to the police, Cross was traveling north on Frederick Road on a Kawasaki motorcycle when he was involved in a collision. His motorcycle collided with an Audi A4 driven by 26-year-old Natalie Weill who was traveling south on Frederick Road. The crash occurred close to Comus Road.

Police and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services responded to a call around 10:47 p.m. about the crash.

Cross was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Weill was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

According to police, the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
