Police Arrest Suspect in Connection with Theft From Auto in Takoma Park

Takoma Park police said they have arrested a man in connection with theft from vehicles on June 28.
Devin Toles, 20, has been charged for two counts of theft from auto, and two counts of rogue and vagabond and possession of burglary tools.
According to police, officers responded to the unit block of Sherman Avenue for the report of a theft from an automobile in progress after a resident spotted the suspect going through a neighbor’s vehicle.
While on the phone with police, the subject moved on to the caller’s vehicle where police found him hiding inside the vehicle.
Toles was arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit without incident.
