Leggett Speaks Out Against Deportation of Montgomery County Resident
In a statement released today, Montgomery County Executive Ike Leggett said he is “shocked and dismayed” that Lizandro Claros Saravia, a college-bound graduate of Quince Orchard High School, was deported to El Salvador this week by federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
“Instead of focusing ICE resources on those who have committed serious crimes, ICE instead has deported a young man, along with his brother, who by all accounts was talented and hard-working,” Leggett said. “He fled violence in his native land in search of safety and opportunity in Montgomery County. He found it. But now ICE has sent him right back. This makes zero sense. ICE should be ashamed of itself.”

ICE is not the only ones who should be ashamed for what they are doing to innocent immigrants, Mr Trump should also be ashamed for creating caos in this country, I think Venezuela is suffering but more than them USA is far worst and all thanks to Mr Trump our wonderful President who probably knows about maternity than running this country and to think he is also an immigrant as well, is he forgetting were he comes from because in all he is not an a true American he should be deported for doing all the things he is doing but the real question, what country wants him or would want to have him there?? I think that not even Venezuela would allow him in.
a) We support the legal return to the US by the brothers.
b) D. Trump was born in New York and cannot be deported.
