Katz Attends Mandatory Candidate Training (Photos)

He’s held elected office for decades but Gaithersburg Mayor Sidney Katz was still required to attend mandatory candidate training on July 18 at City Hall. In fact, he was the only candidate to attend the mandatory training session.

The office of Mayor and two City Council seats are up for reelection on Nov. 5. Candidates elected to the open seats will serve a four-year term.

City Attorney Lynn Board and other staff presented the election training on July 18. Staff will offer another final session on Sept. 18.
