Health Dept. Offers Support to Community Following Fatal Shooting at Recreation Center

Montgomery County Police continue to investigate the shooting of three juveniles and one adult at the Plum Gar Community Recreation Center in Germantown on Wednesday night. A man lost his life as a result. Police arrested a teenager for the fatal shooting.

The tragic incident left many local residents shocked.

Montgomery County Department of Health and Human Services Youth Development Program Administrator Luis Cardona explains the support available for those mourning throughout the community.

Montgomery County police are investigating a shooting at Plumgar Rec Center. Four individuals shot. All transported to area hospitals. Two people are in custody. At this time, this appears to be an isolated incident.
