Gaithersburg Student Selected as Davis United World College Scholar (PHOTO)
Gaithersburg High School sophomore, Jeffrey Bah, was selected as a Davis United World College Scholar to represent the United States at one of 15 United World Colleges. Each year, only 50 students are chosen from the U.S. to join the Davis UWC Scholar program. Bah’s merit-based scholarship covers tuition, fees, room and board for the two-year International Baccalaureate (IB) program. The value of Bah’s scholarship is approximately $73,500.
As a Davis UWC Scholar graduate, Bah will be eligible to receive Shelby Davis Scholarship grant funding towards the costs of undergraduate study if he attends one of the 91 participating Davis United World College Scholars partner colleges and universities within the United States.
