Four potential names for Bethesda-Chevy Chase Middle School No. 2
Four potential names have been chosen for Bethesda-Chevy Chase Middle School No. 2: Kensington, Silver Creek, Harriet Tubman and Dr. Paul L. Vance.
Vance was a former Montgomery County school superintendent, who died in 2015 at the age of 83.
The school, which is under construction on Saul Road in Kensington, would relieve crowding at Westland Middle School in Bethesda.
.@mocoboe recommended four names for the new Bethesda-Chevy Chase middle school, to be given to a school naming committee.
