U.S. Flags to Fly at Half Staff for Victims of Annapolis Capital Shootings

In accordance with President Donald Trump’s proclamation, U.S. flags will be flown at half staff until sunset to honor the five victims of the June 28 shooting at the Annapolis Capital offices. Gov. Larry Hogan had previously ordered the Maryland state flag to be flown at half staff.

The President’s proclamation begins:

“Our Nation shares the sorrow of those affected by the shooting at the Capital Gazette newspaper in Annapolis, Maryland.  Americans across the country are united in calling upon God to be with the victims and to bring aid and comfort to their families and friends.”
