1. Museums and Zoo Close: Due to the COVID-19 surge, the Smithsonian museums, including the National Zoo, will temporarily close to the public starting today. The National Zoo will announce the name of the baby cub born on Aug. 21.
2. COVID-19 Testing: Montgomery County health officials urge all residents to get tested for COVID-19 and will provide free walk-in and drive-through testing at nine testing sites today. The schedule of clinics may be found here.
3. Restaurant Grants Available: The county’s Restaurant Relief Grant program is accepting applications through Dec. 4. Restaurants and food beverage businesses may be eligible for pandemic relief through a new program administered by the Montgomery County Economic Development Corporation.

5. Rockville’s Civic Center Park Closed: A City of Rockville pilot archery deer-culling program will close Civic Center Park and parts of Croydon Creek Nature Center from now through Sunday, Nov. 29.
