1. Lyme Alert: Montgomery County health officials are sharing important information about Lyme disease and what you can do to protect yourself when outdoors this summer. For more information, visit the county’s website, here.

2. Water Safety Day: The cities of Gaithersburg, Rockville and Montgomery County are hosting Water Safety Day at the Water Park at Bohrer Park this afternoon.

3. New Job:  Dan Hoffman, Montgomery County’s chief innovation officer, is leaving his post this month for a new job in Gainesville, Florida.

4. Class of 2017:  There are several graduations taking place today, including at Damascus, Gaithersburg, and Seneca Valley high schools, and at the Model Learning Center and RICA. Congratulations seniors!

5. Donut Day: It’s National Donut Day, and some local shops are celebrating with freebies.
