Here are five things to know today, June 15, in Montgomery County:

1. SafeTrack:  Metro officials will host a news conference with local officials from around the region today to mark the end of the SafeTrack maintenance program following Surge #16, a line segment shutdown between Shady Grove and Twinbrook that starts Saturday.

2. House Fire: Montgomery County firefighters are investigating what sparked a house fire in Potomac on Wednesday evening. Two firefighters were injured in the blaze, according to a Montgomery County official.

3. Crime Concerns: Dozens of residents attended a community meeting with police in Montgomery Village last night, and they wanted to know what police are doing to keep their community safe.

4. Small Business Network: Sherron Washington headlines the Small Business Network today at MCM’s studios. Watch the livestream on the MyMCMedia.org website beginning at 8 a.m.

5. Live Music: The Bethesda Concert Series takes place tonight at Veterans Park, and the Silver Spring Concert Series kicks off at Veterans Plaza. In Gaithersburg, enjoy an evening in Olde Towne at the Concert Pavilion.
