Weekly COVID-19 Media Briefing: County Executive Marc Elrich, County Health Officer Dr. Travis Gayles and Emergency Management Director Dr. Earl Stoddard will hold their weekly media briefing at 12:30 p.m. You can watch live on MCM channels 21 and 995 (HD) and on Facebook and County Cable Montgomery.
2. Takoma Park Police Animal Shelter Drive: Takoma Park Police will be accepting sheets, towels, and bath rugs for Montgomery County Animal Shelters until Jan. 29. Police ask residents not to donate items with zippers or snaps, fabrics with rips or frayed edges or fitted sheets. Click here for more information.

3. COVID-19 Testing: Free COVID-19 testing is available throughout the county at six testing sites today. The schedule of clinics may be found here.
4. Montgomery College Decision-Makers Series: County Councilmember Nancy Navarro and Montgomery College President Dr. DeRionne Pollard will discuss early care and education at 3:30 p.m. as part of the college’s Decision-Makers Series. The discussion will stream on YouTube.
