1.Metro to Discuss Proposed Budget Cuts: WMATA is holding a board meeting today at 9:00 a.m. to discuss proposed service cuts in the Fiscal year 2022 budget. WMATA’s proposal includes no rail service on weekends and eliminating nearly half of the Metrobus routes. Click here to view the agenda.
2. Christmas Tree Shopping Tip: Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service officials say if you’re purchasing a ‘fresh’ tree from a local MCFRS firehouse or other local county groups to choose a tree with fresh, green needles that do not fall off when touched. See the tweet below for more details.
