1. A Rock Anniversary: Roberto Clemente Middle School in Germantown celebrates the 10th Anniversary of Clemente Music Rocks with a benefit concert at the Bethesda Blues and Jazz Club. The fun begins at 7:30. Ticket at http://bbjlive.com/

2. Public Safety Committee Meets: The County Council’s Public Safety Committee meets at 9:30 a.m. in the Seventh Floor Hearing Room of the Council Office Building, Rockville. Part of the meeting will be an update from the Office of Consumer Protection.

3. Rockville Greenery: The Rockville Environment Commission meets at 7 p.m. in the Black-Eyed Susan Conference Room The agenda includes an overview of the State Highway Administration’s plans to widen I-270.

4. More Highway News: Citizens Against Beltway Expansion holds a fundraiser at 7 p.m. at the National Park Seminary in Silver Spring. More details are on Facebook.
