It’s Thursday, Oct. 31 and trick or treaters need to prepare for a stormy Halloween. Check the weather forecast before heading out. Here are five things to know in Montgomery County.
1. Purple Line Transit Project Procurement Fair: Montgomery County Office of Procurement and the Purple Line Transit Constructors host a fair for businesses to learn about contracting opportunities for the construction of the Purple Line. Event takes place at the Silver Spring Civic Building from 9 to 11 a.m.
2. Happy Halloween: Be careful driving as trick or treaters will be knocking on doors in neighborhoods across our county tonight. If you are looking for some scares, you may want to check out Markoff’s Haunted Forest or the Field of Screams. AFI is also hosting Halloween on screen.
