Happy Halloween! Here are five things to know today, Wednesday, Oct. 31, in Montgomery County

1. Halloween Boo Bash: Westfield Mall in Wheaton has Halloween activities planned beginning at 11 a.m.  The mall, located at 1160 Veirs Mill Rd, will host trick-or-treat and more.

2. Germantown Fall Festival: The Germantown Park Annual Fall Festival will take place at the Germantown Park Community Center, located at 18400 Cinnamon Drive. Festivities include a petting zoo, moonbounce, games, music and more.

3. Halloween Safety Tips: Montgomery County public safety officials are reminding people to review basic safety tips for trick-or-treaters, homeowners, drivers, pedestrians, and party-goers.

4. Early Voting Continues: Just two more days left. Montgomery County voters have until Nov. 1 to cast their ballots during early voting for the Gubernatorial Election. Hours of operation are from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. at 11 locations.
