1. Outdoor Smoking Ban Public Hearing: The Montgomery County Council will host a public hearing on banning smoking in outdoor areas during its council meeting.
2. County Executive Forum: Mark Elrich, Robin Ficker and Nancy Floreen are expected to participate in the first county executive debate to be held in the Ag Reserve. This forum is hosted by the Poolesville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Committee for Fair Access for Western Montgomery County.
3. Community Service Week: Montgomery County’s 32nd annual Community Service Week offers residents of all ages the opportunity to volunteer for a variety of nonprofits, schools, and government agencies throughout the county. A lost of events can be found by clicking here.
